Ongole: Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Siddha Raghavarao and his family offered prayers at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Devasthanam in Kandurivari Agraharam in Chimakurthy on Sunday.
The minister said that he prayed the almighty for the happiness and prosperity of the people in state and wished a Happy Sankranti.
Municipal, Urban Development and Urban Housing Minister P Narayana, SC corporation chairman Jupudi Prabhakara Rao, Collector Vadarevu Vinay Chand, Ongole MLA Damacharla Janardhana Rao, ZP chairman Edara Haribabu and other officials and public representatives also extended their wishes to the people in various statements on the Sankranti occasion.
They wished that the Makara Sankranti would bring prosperity to all, best produce and prices to the farmers and everyone in the state would be happy with success in their respective fields.
