Kurnool: The ACB raided the residence of junior assistant Rajesh at Apoorva Sarovar on the outskirts of the Kurnool city on Thursday for possession of disproportionate assets to the known sources of his income.
He is working in the office of the Joint Director of Agriculture (JDA) at the Collectorate. Raids were also conducted at his sister’s residence in Hyderabad and mother-in-law’s house in Nandikotkur.
The total book cost of the seized property is estimated to be Rs 1.5 crore. ACB DSP C Jayarama Raju stated that Rajesh used to collect cash from the fertiliser shops and for issuing and renewal of licences. “We have filed a case on Rajesh, and he would be produced in the ACB court for further action, the DSP said.
