Awareness programme on EVMs held
Prakasam district officials announced that they have conducted EVM and VVPAT awareness programmes in 50 polling booth areas in the district on Sunday
Ongole: Prakasam district officials announced that they have conducted EVM and VVPAT awareness programmes in 50 polling booth areas in the district on Sunday.
The DRO V Venkata Subbaiah announced that the officials went to the 50 polling booths in Santhanuthalapadu and Maddipadu mandals of the Santhanuthapadu assembly constituency, Tangutur mandal of the Kodapi assembly constituency, Ongole and Kothapatnam mandals of the Ongole assembly constituency on Sunday and organized awareness programs on the operation of EVM and VVPATs to the voters.
He announced that similar awareness and training programs will be organized at the all polling booths by 10 engineers from BEL for each constituency on February 11, 12 and 13.
He said the training and awareness programs will be held in all over the district by the month-end.
