Brain tumor surgery successful
A brain tumor was successfully operated through advanced Neuro Navigation procedure at Anu Institute of Neuro and Cardiac SciencesAddressing the media on Wednesday, Dr O Bala Balaji said that a patient Durgabhavani 18 was admitted at Anu hospital with chronic brain tumor problem After detecting the brain tumor the patient was operated on with the latest Neuro Navigation procedure successfully
Vijayawada: A brain tumor was successfully operated through advanced Neuro Navigation procedure at Anu Institute of Neuro and Cardiac Sciences.Addressing the media on Wednesday, Dr O Bala Balaji said that a patient Durgabhavani (18) was admitted at Anu hospital with chronic brain tumor problem. After detecting the brain tumor the patient was operated on with the latest Neuro Navigation procedure successfully which was the first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh, he claimed.
He recalled that a tumor was detected in the brain which would have its impact on the patient speech and memory if not operated in time. He said that after the successful surgery on the patient the memory and the speech of the patient was normal and there is no effect on the patient.
He further said that with the latest advanced Neuro Navigation procedure helps in dealing with complex brain tumors effectively and the recovery of the patient would be fast.Hospital CEO Dr G Ramesh and Dr T Naveen were present.
