Vijayawada: Taking strong exception to the highhandedness of the Intelligence police who questioned the Hailand management when he planned the press meet there, TRS leader and former Telangana minister Talasani Srinivasa Yadav said that AP ministers visit Hyderabad and TS police never track their movements.
Talasani said that Yadava BC Garjan would be held on Guntur inner ring road on March 3 and appealed to the Yadava community to make the meeting a grand success.
Criticising the extravaganza of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in conducting various programmes, including Dharma Porata Deeksha, Talasani said that every day the Chief Minister claims that there was Rs 16,000 crore deficit in state.
Referring to the plight of Yadava and Kuruma communities who eke out a living on dairy and sheep rearing, Srinivasa Yadav said that Yadavas and Kurumas who form 9 to 10 per cent of the population are languishing with no income.
He recalled that Telangana government supplied buffaloes and sheep to the Yadava and Kuruma communities whereas the AP government did not even give counter-guarantee for the loans to the sheep rearing and dairying units.
Ridiculing the appointment of chairpersons to the new corporations, the TRS leader said that what these chairpersons will do in two months before elections. “People are ready to vote out the TDP from power since the BCs are a strong a force to reckon with,” he said.
When asked why the Telangana government deleted as many as 17 Andhra castes from the BC list, he said that the government had written to the BC Commission to include them again.
