Guntur: Telugu Yuvatha leaders burnt the effigy of BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana at Lodge Centre in the city on Saturday for his failure to question the Centre about injustice meted out to Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing the gathering, Telugu Yuvatha leader Mannem Siva Naga Malleswara Rao challenged the Kanna Lakshminaryana to contest in the coming general elections if he has any guts and demanded the latter to stop playing cheap politics.

Responding to announcement of railway zone to state, he said that people of the state are not beggars and warned that the voters would teach a lesson to the BJP in the coming elections.

He said that Kanna has no moral right to criticise the Chief Minister N Chandrababu as the Centre totally failed to honour the promises mentioned in the AP Reorganisation Act.

Telugu Yuavatha leaders Naik, Rambabu, Mannam Vamsi and Chennupati Eswar were present.
