Nissan Pavilion at the 2016 Auto Expo saw the unveiling of new Nissan GT-R, one of the fastest sports cars in the world today.Nissan GT-R will go on sale in India later this year in September. Apart from Nissan GT-R, Nissan pavilion at Auto Expo also has new X-Trail and special editions of Micra and Terrano. Nissan’s sub-brand, Datsun will also be on display along with the GO-Cross Concept.

Nissan GT-R is powered by 3.8 liter biturbo V6 engine generating 554 bhp peak power a t 6,400 rpm and 632 Nm peak torque at between 3,200 and 5,800 rpm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in a record 2.7 seconds while top speed stands at 310 kmph thanks to the inclusion of an All Wheel Drive system along with excellent launch control function. The engine is mated to a 6 speed dual clutch transmission transferring power from the engine to all four wheels.
Nissan GT-R also receives a limited slip differential, double wishbone setup and multilink layout at the front and rear respectively along with DampTronic shock absorbers. Nissan GT-R in India could command a price of around INR 2 crores.
At the 2016 Auto Expo, Nissan booth will also feature an interactive zone for cricket fans as a part of celebrations for the upcoming ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2016. Cricket fans would also have a great time checking out the Twenty20 World Cup Editions of Terrano SUV and Micra hatchback.
