Datsun redi-GO is the third car to be launched under the Datsun brand in India after Go and Go+ MPV. Datsun redi-GO has 98 percent level of localization, contributing to its competitive pricing. It shares its platform with the Renault Kwid.
Engine specifications on the new Datsun redi-GO include a 800cc 3 cylinder petrol engine capable of 53.2 bhp peak power and 72 Nm peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.
This is the same engine seen on the Renault Kwid. Built of lightweight material and in a compact design, class leading mileage is expected to be seen on the Datsun redi-GO. Exterior features include a hexagonal grille, swept back headlamps, chrome bumper, LED daytime running lights and LED fog lamps.
Datsun bookings can be placed at company’s 217 outlets across 165 cities in India while also on e-commerce platform snapdeal.com. The company has also launched Datsun India App whereon booking and latest news of Datsun redi-GO is available.
