Both manual and automatic transmissions are on offer.Bookings for the Audi Q2 entry level SUV have commenced in the UK. The most affordable Q model has starting price of 20,230 pounds (around INR 18.29 lakhs). The mini premium crossover is available with four engine options and three trim levels.

The sub-Q3 model has no real direct competitor as of now and will serve as a stepping stone into the Audi brand for youngsters.The entry level SE variant comes equipped with standard 16-inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable and heated mirrors, and MMI infotainment system with radio, Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto.

The Sport mid-variant asks for 1,550 pounds (around INR 1.4 lakhs) more and offers 17-inch alloys wheels, MMI navigation system with 3-month trial version of Audi Connect portfolio, Audi Drive Select with 5 drive modes, cruise control, automatic headlamps and wipers, sports seats, red and yellow inserts in the cabin.The top-of the-line Q2 S Line adds 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, body kits, leather upholstered front sport seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, brushed aluminium inserts, LED ambient lighting and so on.

The petrol engine lineup includes 115 PS 1.0-litre TSI and 150 PS 1.4-litre TSI units. The diesel lineup is composed of 115 PS 1.6-litre TDI and 150 PS 2.0-litre TDI units. Transmission options include 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DSG. Both FWD and Quattro AWD configurations are on offer.The Audi Q2 will be launched in several international markets in due course. Audi India is still undecided on the launch plans of its smallest crossover yet.
