A fleet of ten TaxiForSure branded cabs waspresent when the founders Raghunandan G and Aprameya R flagged off the event in presence of celebrities and media.Later in the evening, Rakulpreet shook a leg with some of the attendees as Kanantickled the audience with his wit and humor.

The event was attended by over 200 people and all attendees were welcomed with a launch kit withgifts, hampers and company’s information. The first employee, operator, driver and customer of Hyderabad were also felicitated at the launch. After week-long social media campaigns on Twitter and Facebook, the company selected two customers each from Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore for an all-expense paid trip to attend the launch. The best performing operator from each city was also flown down to attend the launch celebrations. Previously in June 2013 TaxiForSure has raised USD 4 million in first round of institutional funding from its seed investors, Accel Partners, Helion Venture Partners and Blume Ventures.

TaxiForSure.com was founded by IIM Ahmedabad graduates RaghunandanG and AprameyaRadhakrishna in June 2011 in Bangalore. The cab aggregator recently completed three years of successful operations. Within a time span of three years the company has crossed one million transactions and has also launched its services in Chennai and Delhi/NCR region and aims to be present in 15 cities by 2015.
