This could be because of a redundant education system that hasn't been updated to suit the needs of the industries that have been continuously evolving.
In this scenario, C.P Gurnani, CEO of Tech Mahindra, has made a statement that would shock any Indian. "94% of IT graduates are unfit for hiring", he said in a recent interview. While this is a widely known fact, that tech companies recruit candidates and offer them on-the-job training, it might be a crucial time for the ministry of education to make changes to curriculums taught in educational institutions.
