Infosys executive vice president Sangita Singh who was the head of it's $750- million healthcare and life sciences business, has resigned from the company in less that 2 years after joining the firm.

She is said to have joined Infosys from their cross - town rival Wipro, where she oversaw the healthcare and life sciences portfolio that had then a $800 million run rate.

When one of the spokesperson of Infosys was asked regarding this matter. "We do not have any comments to offer. Sangita also could not be reached.

Nitesh Banga, senior VP and global head of manufacturing and edge products has also quit the firm to become the COO of the Global logic reporting to it's CEO Shashank Samant.

In another development, Atul Soneja has been appointed as the head of it's product and platforms subsidiary at Edge Verve. The leadership at Edge Verve has been facing a bumpy task in monetising it's business.

It contributes just 5.2% to Infosys revenues even after a long time.

Sangita's departure does not seem to be surprising after a group of senior employee exits in the country's second largest IT firm after the CEO of Infosys Vishal Sikka had a fallout with some of the founders.
