Tirumala: Union Minister for Home Affairs Sushil Kumar Shinde offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala in the wee hours of Sunday morning during Suprabatham Seva. On his arrival in front of Sri Vari Temple TTD Chairman K Bapi Raju, EO LV Subramanyam and officials have welcomed the Union Home Minister. After the dharshan of the lord, the TTD Chairman and EO presented Sri Vari Prasadam, books and photo frame, and the Veda pundits of the temple have blessed him with Vedic Hymns at Ranganayakula Mandapam. Later, he offered prayers along with his entourage in Sri Bhu Varahaswamy Temple located adjacent to the main temple. Superintendent of Police (Tirupati Urban) SV Rajasekhara Babu, CV & SO GVG Ashok Kumar, Additional CVSO Sivakumar Reddy, Temple Deputy EO Chinnamgari Ramana, Temple Peishkar Rama Rao, Reception Officials Venkataiah, Damodar and other officials were present.
