TN Minister felicitates SVIMS director

Tirupati: Tamil Nadu Health Minister KC Veeramani felicitated Dr Vengamma, Director of SVIMS here on Saturday in connection with the World Health Day. Indian Medical Association of Vellore, Azeez Chida Foundation of Canada-Mexico and Social Welfare Trust of Vellore jointly conducted the felicitation programme to Dr Vengamma for her meritorious medical services to patients of SVIMS. Speaking on this occasion, Veeramani said medical profession across the globe has good recognition in society and many doctors have reputation at various levels because of their dedicated services. He appealed to the doctors to extend their valuable services to patients with human touch, he added. Minister of Minority Affairs Mohammed Jani, Mayor of Vellore Kathyayani and Vellore District Collector P Sankar also felicitated Dr Vengamma and appreciated her dedicated medical service to poor patients and her efforts in conducting continuous medical education classes periodically.
