Kondeti bags Tamil Delhi Belly

Suresh Kondeti, SK Pictures chief, has bagged the Telugu rights to distribute 'Settai', a remake of 2011 Bollywood hit 'Delhi Belly'. The Tamil version stars Arya, Hansika, Anjali, Santhanam and Ali in the lead roles. Suresh, who tasted moderate success with 'Pizaa', has got the 'Settai' Telugu rights amidst huge competition. Terming that the performances of the lead cast will be a highlight in the film, Kondeti said, "We've introduced Anjali to Telugu audience with 'Shopping Mall' and we've also released 'Journey' which turned out to be a super hit at the Tollywood box-office. She is bound to earn better name with this film." While the Hindi version, known for its cuss language, has obtained 'A' certificate, the Tamil version was awarded a clean 'U' certificate recently. Directed by Kannan, the film which has music by SS Thaman, is being planned for a simultaneous release all across south India.
