Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Atharintiki Daredi had a mass appeal. No wonder then it broke all box office records in Telugu film industry. However, the plot may not really work pan-India Or so seems Bollywood hunk Salman Khan who was all set to remake it in Hindi after hearing praises of the movie.
It may be recalled that Salman's south movie remakes have done very well at the Box Office.
We hear an excited Salman was hoping for the same to happen with Atharintiki Daredi too. However, that was not to be. Sources say, although Salman liked the movie as a whole some parts failed to impress him. So he felt it was better to drop the idea.
Remember the same happened with Mahesh Babu's Dhookudu too. Salman dropped his plans to reprise Mahesh's role as he thought playing cop again could clash with his image in Dabangg.
Well, he knows better or was it a misjudgement?
