Pawan Kalyan's political career shaky?

His dialogue delivery and style makes him the most popular actor in T town. Pawan Kalyan enjoys a huge fan following. His fan base can be compared to that of his contemporaries in Bollywood. Although Pawan is not seen much in the social circles, his heart of gold and his willingness to help those in distress has brought him close to people. Which is why there were even reports sometime back that Pawan be the right choice to represent Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi party.

Pawan's first sign of interest in politics was noticed when he campaigned rigorously for his brother Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam Party. However, the actor was reportedly disappointed after Chiru chose to merge his party with the Congress for want of power. Grapevine has it that ever since, the two brothers are not on good terms.

This led to the speculation that Pawan would either float his own party or even join Chandrababu Naidu's TDP to take revenge on his brother. However, all these rumours were laid to rest when the actor along with his brother Nagababu issued a press statement rubbishing such reports as baseless.

But Pawan did express his desire to serve the society and also said that he was planning to relaunch his Common Man Protection Force which has been non-functional for a long time now.

In a recent interview, he also said that he was never away from the politics to make a comeback. This thrilled his fans who were expecting to see him lead the state in the political arena. Even film-makers, including Ram Gopal Varma asked him to join politics. However, that was not to be.

Just when the entire state was waiting to receive news of him joining politics, reports of his secret marriage with the Teenmaar actress shook the tinsel town.

The news came as a shocker to all those waiting to see him turn into a popular political figure. While many received the news with a pinch of salt, Pawan's fans are clueless as the artiste himself hasn't issued any kind of clarification.

Now, the question is who leaked the news of his marriage. How did his marriage certificate surface when the intent of marriage notification put up on the notice period at Erragadda sub-registrar's office had gone unnoticed. It's worth mentioning here that the notice stayed on the board for a month as per rules.

While some say the people who leaked the info were Pawan's detractors who feared his entry into politics have deliberately did the act, some others feel it's the same miscreants who leaked the pirated version of his previous family Atharintiki Daredi. Some others maintain that the actor himself leaked the news unable to bear the constant media reports on his separation from wife Renu Desai.

Anyway, back to his political career. Although we live in a developed country where people seem to have modern outlook, remarriage is still a taboo and frowned upon. And for a person to enter political world, he must have a clean record both professionally and personally. Because your detractors will make life miserable for you by digging into the past and having a field day with some interesting find that could completely jeopardize your political career.

Now, the hottest talk in the political circles is that, under the circumstances Pawan cannot take the risk of taking a plunge into politics. With elections only a few months away, it's impossible to win the love of conservative fans and ask them to vote for him. What happens next? It would be interesting to see what strategy will Pawan adopt to win back the trust of people and divert their attention from his personal life to his good work.
