Suman to fight Akshay Kumar, Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Gabbar', About Gabbar Movie. The actor has also refuted news about his political entry.
Having carved a niche for himself in the industry for the past 25 years, actor Suman will finally be making his Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Gabbar’, a Hindi remake of Tamil hit ‘Ramana’. It was also remade as ‘Tagore’ in Telugu with Chiranjeevi stepping into the shoes of Tamil actor Vijaykanth. Suman has already commenced shooting for his portions in Mumbai. A directorial venture of Telugu director Krish, ‘Gabbar’ is being produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Suman said that he was bestowed with Bollywood offers after his negative portrayal in Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Sivaji’. “However, nothing excited me. It was Akshay Kumar who suggested my name for ‘Gabbar’ and I thank him for that. I expect the film to be a new turning point in my career,” he said.
The actor has also refuted news about his political entry. “I don’t see myself entering politics as of now. But I have plans to join a national party in the future,” he added.
