The movie depicts the inspiring life of a handicapped vendor who sells dusting cloth at the Jubilee Hills Check Post. Zindgani is truly inspiring and mirrors the society.

In a rare feat, within a short span of just 48 hours, a movie of 2 min 40 sec length was filmed in Annapurna International School of Film and Media located in Hyderabad. Adding more exquisiteness to it, the movie had the honour of winning the Best Film Award for most suitable depiction of the theme - Apne Dum Par.

As part of the course curriculum, a short movie is to be filmed by the students of ibid media school and the parameter set is 3 minutes. Of many deliberations the team who worked for the short movie titled Zindgani won the hearts of many thus being considered for an award under the theme Apne Dum Par. Zindgani is based on the real life story of Sriram, a handicapped vendor selling dusting clothes often spotted at "Jubilee Hills check-post.

The filming was completed in a record time of under 48 hours. The video went viral and received many appreciations from prominent film personalities. The recognition has certainly boosted the spirit of the team who is now working on another new project titled Parabola.

Short movies need special recognition given the fact that it requires crisp narration and thus more work. Several thought provoking short have even entered the international film festivals. Thus efforts of these students who have made every effort to put across a message are commendable.
