Tollywood Director SS Rajamouli said that noted writer cum journalist cum poet cum lawyer cum editor late Khushwant Singh’s writings have always influenced him.
Rajamouli said he came to know the legitimacy of life by reading the books of Khushwant Singh and he always remembered by him everlastingly. Rajamouli paid his reverence to the great writer on Friday and expressed his feelings for Khushwant Singh.
It is evident that Khushwant Singh, the most acclaimed Indian journalist breathed his last on Thursday. According to kith and kin of the deceased, he has been ailing for the past sometime. Khushwant Singh was born on February 2, 1915. He had served as an editor for many magazines in India. In the year 2007, he was conferred with Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian honor in India. He had also served as the editor for ‘Yojana’ being published by the Union Ministry of Broadcasting.
