If you love Telugu cinema, Manam is a film you can’t miss – especially if you are an Akkineni fan. Tomorrow, Telugu legend ANR’s film is going to hit the screens. The movie will be starring all three generations of the Akkineni family: ANR, Nagarjuna and Nagachaitanya.
Manam is set to release worldwide on May 23rd. It will, however, premiere on May 22nd.
Nagarjuna once said that “22” was an important number to the Akkineni family as ANR’s debut film Seetharam Janam released on 22nd November 1944 and ANR passed away on 22nd Januray 2014; and this is the reason why the movie will premiere on 22nd May across five multiplexes.
The film is directed by Vikram Kumar, and stars Akkineni Nagarjuna along with his late father and legendary actor, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and his son, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. The film also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Shreya Saran.
ANR may be no more but Akkineni fans will always hold the legendary actor close to their hearts through the screen, whether it is through Abhimanyu of Mayabazar, Kalyan of Prema Nagar, or Nageshwar of Manam – Akkineni fans will always enjoy seeing his breathtaking performances.
Manam will provide fans with the opportunity of stepping back into the golden era of Telugu cinema with the magic of ANR, who created a special place in the hearts of millions of Telugu cinema lovers.
