It seems that she dropped the desire of appearing once again on the screen as well, for she turned a producer-director recently and has been busy in this role. Her first ever attempt in this direction has given her the needed results.
It is evident the movie ‘Mangalashtak Once More’ produced by her in Marathi was a grand hit there. Also, now, she is busy with ‘Ishqwala Love’ being produced by her in own direction. This movie has been presented in the name of Sri Adya Films, named after their daughter Adya. Also, this movie has been produced by her in the name of Akheeranandan, their son. Renu has been keen to dub it into Telugu. Sj Surya, Kushi fame director, has scored music for this movie. Shortly both Marathi and Telugu songs will be released, said Renu. This movie is planned to be released on September 26, added Renu Desai. Hope Renu Desai would receive a grand welcome even as a director!!
