It's a known fact that Tamil director Shankar was the chief guest at Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu's Aagadu audio launch.

Shankar who's mighty impressed with Mahesh's performance in all his movies was seen singing praises of the actor. Addressing the audience, Shankar said: "I've been watching almost all of Mahesh Babu's films since Okkadu and I really like his screen presence. His performance in Dookudu was excellent and it's not easy to blend dialogues and body language so well. I know Thaman from the days of Boys and he used to make me listen to his compositions. I'm glad that he has completed 50 films in such a short span of time."
Mahesh too took the opportunity to reciprocate the kindness. Thanking Shankar profusely for gracing the occasion, the superstar said: "When I used to live in Chennai, I made sure that I watched his film on first day. He's one of my favourite directors."
Apparently, Shankar had a personal chat with Mahesh after the audio launch function. What's cooking? Will be the duo work together in a film? Let's wait and watch.
For now, Mahesh's Aagadu is gearing up to hit theatres sometime this month. The Srinu Vaitla directed film will see Mahesh in the role of a cop and Tamanaah plays the leading lady. Shruti Haasan will be seen in a special song while Sonu Sood plays a baddie.
