The actor who has wrapped up ‘Aagadu’ which is gearing up for release on September 19, says that his last release, ‘1: Nenokkadine’ was a film that he was glad to be a part of.

Superstar Mahesh Babu, who is awaiting the release of Srinu Vaitla’s ‘Aagadu’, says that his career is going great guns now. “I am excited with the way my career is going right now. I am in a happy space,” he says as he talks about the various films and endorsements that he is busy with.

The actor who has wrapped up ‘Aagadu’ which is gearing up for release on September 19, says that his last release, ‘1: Nenokkadine’ was a film that he was glad to be a part of. “The film was way ahead of its time. For me, it was an exciting experience,” says Mahesh, adding that he is ready to experiment further if the correct role is offered to him.

Would that mean he would venture into socio-mythological films? Pat comes the reply: “No! I can’t do something like that now. Not only is it risky but it also involves a high budget.”

And when quizzed if audiences would be treated to his son Gautham’s performance anytime soon, he says that the possibility isn’t much. “He has to study. And there’s nothing interesting that has come up now. If there is then maybe we can consider.”

The actor was speaking at the launch of footwear range for a brand he endorses.
