Plot Tungabhadra is a story that runs in the backdrop of village politics laced around with a beautiful love story. The title ‘Tungabhadra’ refers to the reunion of different sections of people which is similar to the union of two big rivers – Tunga and Bhadra coming together to form the river Tungabhadra.

The movie revolves around the aspect of people even though brought up in the same village cannot live in harmony; but if rivers can come together, so can the people’s thinking.

Review Directed by new comer, Srinivas Krishna, Tungabadhra is portrayed an intense political drama with a sensible love story. Execution of the movie comes across beautifully although the script becomes too predictable post interval.
