Movie review: Akash Puri's Andhra Pori a wasted effort

With the Hyderabad court rejecting the petition, star director Puri Jagannadh's son's Akash Puri's Andhra Pori hit theaters today.

Story: Narsing (Akash Puri) could not complete his class10. He gets attracted to Prashanti (Ulka Gupta). Prashanthi, is the daughter of Gopal Rao who is a Assistant Engineer in Kothagudem Thermal Power Station. Narsing's father passes away and his mother requests him to clear 10th class So he could land a job at the power plant. It's at this point that the film's lead actors fall in love. As expected, their love faces obstacle as he has no job. To know how Narsing solves his problem, watch the movie in theaters.

Performance: As a top director 's son Akash Puri has managed to meet the expectations of viewers. His dancing skills and acting are good in the movie. Puri has to concentrate on his expressions if he's serious about a career in films. There is no scope for glamour show in the film. Though Ulka Gupta performed well as a schoolgirl, may not impress the audience. Other characters have paid justice to their roles.

Technical: Josyanhatla's music is impressive. Three songs are good and worth watching. Editing is very bad and could have been far better. Raj Madhiraju has come out with a very old love story, which may not connect to present generation audiences.
