Kollywood top stars who never made it big in Tollywood

Dubbing Tamil movies in Telugu is a common thing and the new concept in Kollywood movies are well accepted by us. Tamil stars like Rajini, Kamal, Suriya, Vikram and many other heroes have a good market even in Telugu. But there are a few stars who shined there and failed in repeating the same magic here.

Ajith, who is a well-known name in Telugu, is also known for his knack of picking stylish scripts like Arrambam, Billa and Gambler. But he never scored a big hit here and failed to develop a market. Another hero who falls under the same category is Vijay. This name is enough for the Tamil audience to go into a frenzy. But this mass hero’s hit films like Nanban, Thuppaki and Jilla did not get good revenues in Telugu. He has pinned high hopes on his next movie Puli. Young heroes like Arya, Simbu and Jeeva also failed in utilizing the popularity they got with their initial films.

These actors are trying to gain a good market in Telugu by casting Telugu actors in their films but somehow not getting enough mileage. Is it because of their looks or their stories???
