Varma wraps up Killing Veerappan

Known to shoot his films at a breakneck speed, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has wrapped up shooting his most ambitious multilingual project, ‘Killing Veerappan’. The maker is currently monitoring the post-production activities and is also chalking out the promotional strategies of the film, we hear.

Shot simultaneously in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu languages, featuring Kannada superstar Shivaraj Kumar in the central role of Senthamarai Kannan, superintendent of Police, STF and the spy who was the mastermind of the Operation Cocoon and theatre artist Sandeep Bharadwaj as Veerappan, the film is slotted for a release on November 6. The Hindi version is expected to be out in December.
