Noted comedian Mada Venkateswara Rao was cremated today at Rayadurg burial ground.Mada, died of respiratory problems while undergoing treatment at a private hospital on Sunday.He was 65.

Earlier in the morning, prominent personalities from Telugu film industry including Chiranjeevi, Allu Aravind and Rajendra Prasad came to his residence to pay their last respects to the comedian.Mada shot to fame with his portrayal of a eunuch in filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao’s 1977 film Chillara Kottu Chitemma. Before becoming a full-fledged actor, he was employed in the electricity department.
Mutyala Muggu, Lambadolla Ramdasu, Mayadari Malligadu and Siviah are some of his well known films.
