Sundeep Kishan is on a roll. After signing back-to-back films recently, the young actor is all set to star in another Telugu film, a remake of Tamil and Malayalam bilingual ‘Neram’. It is believed that Sundeep was pretty impressed with the content and has agreed to be part of the Telugu version. The Telugu version of the bilingual comic thriller, which was hailed for its interesting narrative style and quirky characterizations, will be directed by Anil Kanneganti.

Talking about the film, Sundeep said, “At this point, I only want to do films, which I’m super kicked about. ‘Neram’ belongs to that very category. It’s a content-driven film, which has genuine emotion. I saw the film and was very impressed with the gripping narration and the novel presentation. The makers have had the plans to remake and recently, they acquired the rights.”

Not surprisingly, the Telugu version will not be a faithful remake but will be customized to cater to the nativity factor.

“Yes, we wanted to tweak the script without diluting the essence of the original plot and the characterizations. We are currently working towards it and the final script should be ready by the year-end,” he adds.

Keerthy suresh and Aashna Zaveri are the front-runners for the leading lady role.

The film, presented by Anil Sunkara, is scheduled to start in December.
