Aadi blessed with a girl

The proud father spoke to Hans Talkies about the gamut of emotions he went through after seeing his bundle of joy

Aadi Sai Kumar is on cloud nine. His wife Aruna gave birth to a baby girl at 5 pm at a private hospital in Rajahmundry on Thursday. Both the child and mother are doing well.

Aadi, who was incidentally shooting in Rajahmundry for his film ‘Chuttalabbayi’ was there with his wife when she went into labour. The family was thrilled to bits as the happiest moment has arrived on a Thursday, which they consider pious.

Sharing his happiness, Aadi said, “I was there with Aruna and was obviously tensed. But my first reaction after seeing the child was ‘wow’. I was surprised, stunned and had mixed feelings but later, I could sense the amazing feeling of turning a father.

I believe every father would echo my feeling when he first comes to know about the big news. Moreover, she was born on an auspicious day (December 17), which happens to be Lord Sri Subramanya Swamy Shasti. So it makes it even more special.”

He added, “She’s (baby) the first one to be in our family's next generation and the entire family is elated.” The actor is ready to acquire some toys for the newly-born. “I have a few toys in mind buy I will buy them based on her age,” he smiled, noting that the family hasn’t decided on the child’s name yet.
