Mirroring present-day youth’s approach towards love and marriage

Filmmaker Nandini Reddy says her forthcoming film, ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’, starring Naga Shourya and Malavika Nair, is a romantic drama that deals with contemporary youth’s attitude towards love.

“It’s a rom-com which deals with the current generations take on love and marriage. It also mirrors their values beneath a refreshing love story. There are places where it gets intense too,” she said.

Ask the director why she picked Malavika as the leading lady, she reasoned, “I saw her last film ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ and was fascinated with her innocent and cute looks. My heroine required the same traits and so, we’ve got her on board.”
