Venky-Jeethu to come together for a thriller
Currently occupied with his yet-untitled flick with Maruthi, superstar Venkatesh will be teaming up with Malayalam heavyweight Jeethu Joseph for a new feature.

Producer Suresh Babu confirmed the development when contacted, “It’s not finalised yet. But the script work is going on. It would be bankrolled by another producer and Suresh Productions will associate with it.”
When asked whether it would be Venky’s immediate next, he said, “There are other films which will happen and it would be one of them.” Quizzed whether it would be a thriller, he said, “Well, that’s the plan but it won’t be a sequel to ‘Drishyam’.” Jeethu Joseph is the man behind the original ‘Drishyam’ which had Mohanlal in the lead. He even directed its Tamil version, ‘Papanasam’, with Kamal Haasan.
