BellamKonda Srinivas's Speedunnodu hit theaters on Friday. Though his first film Alludu Sreenu was not commercially successful, he impressed the audience with his acting and dancing skills. Now, he is trying his luck with Speedunnodu which is directed by Bheemineni Srininvasa Rao.

Story:
Shoban (Bellamkonda Sreenivas) can go to any extent for friendship. Shobhan completes his studies but remains unemployed in Venkatapuram. His friends are his weakness and he can get himself into trouble for his freinds. He fully enjoys his life until he decides to help his friend Giri (Madhu). Giri loves Vasanthi(Sonarika) but he fails to woo her and seeks the help of Shoban. But in the process, Sonarika starts liking Shoban and troubles start for him.

After several turns and twists, Vasanti’s father(Rao Ramesh) fixes his daughter’s marriage to one of Shoban’s friends. Differences crop up between Shobhan and his friends. How Shobhan solves the problems and will Vasanthi's love come true? To know the reasons watch the film on the big screen.

Performances:
Bellamkonda Srinivas has improved his acting compared to his last film Alludu Srinu. He once again proves that he is very good at dance and fights. Sonarika Bhadoria has done a decent job in her traditional role, but she also has a oomph factor in songs. Tamannah once again ups the glam quotient in the item number.

Srinivas Reddy does manage to evoke laughs and his comedy is good in the first half. Others Rao Ramesh, Pavitra Lokesh, Jhansi, Posani Krishna Murali, Prudhvi and Rama Prabha are their usual self.

Analysis:
The film's music is impressive and back ground score is also good. The film has striking visuals. But the movie definitely needs trimming and songs placement is not good.

Bheemineni Srinivas Rao had failed to impress the audience with his Annavaram film starring Pawan Kalyan. He once again chose to come back with a remake film. Though he succeeded in showing the twists, village backdrop and dialogues like the original film, he fails to carry out the emotions. The film has good entertainment and strong climax which make audience come out with a better feeling else the audience may end up getting a headache. Speedunnodu has an interesting story line but the director fails to incorporate all the necessary ingredients to suit the taste of Telugu audience. The director should have taken much care on the scenes between the friends as the film is based on friendship.

Though the film has a good number of elements, the film lacks consistency in its entertainment quotient. Srinivas dance, good climax, Tamannah's item number and average second half are the strengths of this mass entertainer.

Plus Points:
Lead pair
Story line
Climax

Minus Points:
Outdated plot
Insipid humor
Editing

Verdict: Speedunnodu offers some entertainment here and there. But it may not increase its speed at the box office.
