Kerintha girl in Nawin’s flick

A day after we reported that actor Naresh’s son, Nawin, has signed another project, in a fresh development, we’ve learnt that Nithya Naresh has been roped in as the leading lady for the romantic drama.

“It’s a teenage love story and director Giri was particular in having a new yet familiar face for the female lead. He eventually approached Nithya, who was more than pleased to come on board after listening to the script,” said a source.

The film’s official launch is expected to be held shortly in Hyderabad. The Kerala-born, meanwhile, is fast wrapping up the shooting of her current film opposite Sri Vishnu.
