Naveen turns baddie

Actor Naveen Chandra, who is going through a lean patch of late, is in deliberations to play antagonist in Nani’s next with Trinadha Rao. Naveen, we hear, liked the part but is yet to sign on the dotted line.

“Despite the fact that his solo career is going great, Naveen believes in the importance of supporting characters and when Trinadha Rao and writer Prasanna Kumar approached him to star in their film with an out of the ordinary character, he evinced interest. The other factors that lured him to consider the project are the likes of Dil Raju and Bekkem Venugopal who are producing the film,” said a source close to Naveen.

The untitled film, which will see Keerthy Suresh alongside Nani, will roll once Nani completes his film with Virinchi Varma. Naveen is currently busy with projects like ‘Chandamama Raave’ and ‘Burrakatha.’ He is also in talks for a couple of new projects.
