Gilchrist turns chef with Saransh Goila

The kitchen of Delhi-based food enthusiast and chef, Saransh Goila had an unusual guest in its latest episode. Known for his popular Koyla Goila chicken, the chef not only got to cook his signature recipe for famous Aussie cricketer, Adam Gilchrist but also had the cricketer add his touch to the dish. And knowing that Butter Chicken is Adam’s favorite Indian dish just topped it all!

While his moves behind the stumps are famous around the world, only a few know that Gilly loves his food hot and spicy. On the experience, Goila Chicken specialist, Saransh Goila said, “Being a cricket fan, I can’t believe I am actually come to a day where I get to serve Gilchrist something that I cook. It’s a feeling that is unmatched. At Goila’s we smoke our butter chicken with coal and Gilly smoked it and he did it as easily as he hits sixes in the stadium.”

Off the pitch, Adam has not only learnt little bit of Hindi but also about Indian food. In this Aussie accent, the excited Adam Gilchrist said, “Well, there are a lot of dishes that I love from India, but Butter Chicken is my favourite. I was looking forward to learn the secret technique from Saransh.
