Naga Chaitanya-starrer ‘Premam’, the eponymous remake of Malayalam blockbuster, which was earlier scheduled to release on September 9, has been deferred by a month.

“The film will hit the screens during Dasara festival in October. The original plan was to release in September; however, it has been postponed to make way for the release of Chaitanya’s other film ‘Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo’ (SSS),” said a source from the film’s unit.

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film tracks three different stages of romance in the life of its protagonist.
Last week, the makers released the first song “Evare” from the album and it has been very well received. Now, they’re planning to unveil 1-minute video of the song on a special occasion.

“The film’s audio launch, which was supposed to happen this month-end, will now happen in the third week of September to coincide with the birth anniversary of late legendary actor Nageswara Rao,” the source added.
