Pawan to join the sets of ‘Katamarayudu’ on September 24

After witnessing multiple delays in the past, the second schedule of Pawan Kalyan-starrer ‘Katamarayudu’ with director Dolly will finally commence in Hyderabad on September 20. Pawan, who hasn’t shot for the film yet, will join the sets on September 24.

A source close to the production house Northstar Entertainment says, “Pawan is currently busy taking a stock of what’s happening in AP after the central government announced special package but he promised to Marar that he would join the sets on September 24. He is in the desired look for the film and it’s just that he needs to land on sets, that’s it.”

The source adds, “Although Marar wanted to complete the film by December, his plans were thwarted by Pawan’s sudden shift to the politics of AP. Nonetheless, the plan is very much on to wrap up the film by December or January end.”

‘Katamarayudu’, a remake of Tamil hit ‘Veeram’, features Shruti Haasan opposite Pawan Kalyan.
