Ram Gopal Varma recently ridiculed the poster of Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150’, calling it highly narcissistic. In retort, the actor’s brother and producer Naga Babu in his speech at the film’s pre-release function on Saturday slammed the filmmaker (although did not take his name) for his remarks. Calling him ‘Akupakshi’ (fool), Naga Babu took a dig at RGV and asked him to make good films before talking about Chiranjeevi's stature.

In a fresh rejoinder, the peeved filmmaker lashed out at Naga Babu calling him ‘incompetent’. Taking to Twitter, in an angry rant, the filmmaker called Naga Babu an ‘incompetent’ brother who was born to ‘balance’ the greatness of Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and others. On a concluding note, RGV said that he had great respect for Chiranjeevi and cautioned him as a fan to be careful of his ‘damager’ (referring to Naga Babu).

Naga Babu also criticized writer Yendamuri Veerendranath who some time back termed Ram Charan not as successful as music composer Devi Sri Prasad. Reacting to Naga Babu’s comments, Yendamuri said, “I am clueless as to why he made such comments. In one of my recent speeches, I pointed out about the importance of being successful in life, giving a passing mention about star kids Ram Charan and Devi Sri Prasad.

Both their fathers Chiranjeevi and Sathya Murthy and I worked for ‘Abhilasha’ (1983). In my citation, I was more vocal about Devi Sri Prasad; perhaps Naga Babu might be under the impression that I branded Charan as ‘not successful’, which was not I meant. Even when we met recently and discussed about stories he spoke well, but I don’t know what went wrong, may be someone might have provoked Naga Babu.”
