There were rumours that Pradeep skipped the police counselling and absconding to avoid jail term. To clear all the rumours, he released a video. In the video, he said that he will attend counselling and other things as per the instructions given to him.

"I couldn't attend counselling so far due to my shoots. Once I am done with my prior commitments, I will follow the procedure as per Law. I could have missed few important phone calls as my phone hasn't stopped ringing. Last Year, I campaigned against drunk driving. I could only say that nobody should repeat the mistake committed by me. Hope, Everyone would understand Me', he said.
