Performances:
Performances wise, this is Anushka's best work again. The actress never ceases to impress us, and in the dual role, she delivered an ultimate performance. The scenes that were shot in the Bungalow were especially so good, and we can't prevent ourselves from appreciating her. Unni Krishnan Mukundan has played a proper role in the film, and his character has got a lot of weight in the movie.
He has delivered an impressive performance in the movie. Jayaram has got a crucial role, and he is also very good with a subtle performance. Murali Sharma impressed in the role of ACP. Prabhas Seenu, Dhanraj and the others have played their parts well and added the strength to the casting.
Technical Values:
G Ashok is the director of the film who has made it big with the movie. The production values by Studio Green and UV Creations are grand. The writing by Ashok is decent. The performances are splendid. The cinematography Madhie is top class.
Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao's editing is impressive. Thaman's background score is a significant highlight in the movie. The film has excellent VFX and graphics work from one and all. The running time is also within limits. The makers have taken proper care in making the film technically sound.
Verdict:
The movie Bhaagamathie is a reasonably engaging thriller with adequate twists. All these twists are not new to the Telugu audiences, the makers have managed to bring a decent product to the viewers. The film was well made; especially the second half has come out well. Anushka Shetty carried the movie on her shoulders, and she has driven the film to the unbeaten path. The supporting cast has also contributed well to the movie.
The major highlight of the film is the background score from Thaman which is one of his best background score efforts to date. The film is technically very sound, and it brought the required potential for the film to perform well at the box office. On the whole, the film stands out as a decent entertainer this weekend.
