Ali Zafar Send Legal Notice to Meesha Shafi
We all know that the renowned pop singer Ali Zafar has been facing sexual harassment allegations by musician and actress Meesha Shafi. Now, giving a shock to everyone, he has sent a legal notice to her seeking an apology, which, if not provided, will result in \"damages to the tune of at least Rs 100 million\" under Defamation Ordinance.
We all know that the renowned pop singer Ali Zafar has been facing sexual harassment allegations by musician and actress Meesha Shafi. Now, giving a shock to everyone, he has sent a legal notice to her seeking an apology, which, if not provided, will result in "damages to the tune of at least Rs 100 million" under Defamation Ordinance.
Advocate Ali Sibtain Fazli, the accused's legal counsel, said the media would be informed of further proceedings in the case. Meanwhile, Ahmad Pansota, Shafi's lawyer, said his client had not received Zafar's legal notice.
Shafi shared that she is a mother of two and still faces sexual harassment in the industry and because of Ali she underwent a lot of mental agonies and that's the reason she approached the law for justice. Well, let's see whether she will apologize to the singer or not.
