Ever since the wedding, Tollywood star heroine Samantha is being away from the commercial flicks and is showing more interest on the content-oriented scripts. Her upcoming movie 'U-Turn' is coming out as the remake of Kannada super hit film with the same title, and Sam is all set to do another remake movie.
'Miss Granny' is a South Korean movie which tells the story of a 70-year-old woman who magically turns into a 20-year-old, after going into a mysterious photo studio. The movie was already remade in so many other languages and director Nandini Reddy who really got impressed with the script wanted to remake the movie in Telugu.
She approached Samantha to star in it. As the story is different and extremely funny at times, the Akkineni daughter-in-law has given her nod. A closer source revealed that Sam is super excited and thrilled to be a part of this film.
"It is an interesting take on human emotions and Sam is happy to be a part of it. She feels this film will show her in a new light," revealed the source. Sam's 'U-Turn' is slated to hit the screens on September 13th.
