The gorgeous Mouni Roy made her debut by walking the ramp for designer Payal Singhal at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week 2019, says it was fun but nerve-wracking.
Talking about walking the ramp, Mouni said, “This is my first Lakme Fashion Week opportunity for Payal, who is a very dear friend of mine. I wanted to work with her and the moment she told me about this opportunity, I immediately grabbed it and I am so happy”
The stunning actress Mouni was dressed in a lehenga-choli-dupatta ensemble. She kept her hair open in waves and minimal makeup, she looked like a dream. She was carrying a clutch in the matching hue of the lehenga. Mouni is a huge fan of the designer and often sports her creations for various events and occasions.
Marking her debut on the ramp was nerve-wracking for Mouni, but advice from her designer friend made things easy for her says the actress.
She said, “I was very nervous before going on the stage, I was shivering, and my designer told me to forget about everything, just look at the camera and romance the camera, so that was helpful”
On the work front, Mouni Roy has an interesting line-up of releases in 2019; she will be seen in movies like Romeo Akbar Walter, Brahmastra, Made in China and Mogul.
Romeo Akbar Walter is an espionage thriller film, which is written and directed by Robbie Grewal. It stars John Abraham, Jackie Shroff and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi in the lead roles.
Made in China is a comedy film directed by Mikhil Musale, who had directed the National Award winning Gujarati film Wrong Side Raju. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan starring Rajkummar Rao, and Boman Irani in the lead roles. It is scheduled to release on 30 August 2019.
