The original Pilate Girl – Namrata Purohit, who is out with her first music video, which is a unique combination of putting Pilates, Music, and Dance together, says it has been amazing experience creating the music video.

Namrata Purohit launched her first singe Flow in a star-studded event, which saw celebrities such as Sara Ali Khan and Aditi Rao Hydari in presence.

Talking about her music video and experience, Namrata said, “The experience was amazing but I didn’t know so much goes into making a music video. I thought I will this and that, and it will be done. But there is so much back and forth that happens, there is so much of understanding that has to go into it, in terms of getting the notes right, the fine-tuning takes time. And I was very particular about it”

“Getting the right music, getting someone to understand the flow, which is the name of the song. Getting the right singer, getting Mansi Scott on board, getting the right director and choreographer, so the whole thing was amazing, and finally, the song and video is out”

Talking about the concept and putting it together, Namrata said, “I’d love putting Pilates and music together, and I love to dance as well. So it is been some time since I was thinking about bringing all the elements together – Pilate, Music, and dance, for the world to see it, on a bigger platform”

Namrata also added she screened the video for Malaika Arora Khan and blown away by her reaction.

She said, “Malaika Arora Khan is someone from the Bollywood industry, I’d shown my video first and she’d loved it. She was excited and really happy to see it. She is someone I look up to and she has been with me in my journey”
