She alleged that legendary lyricist of Tamil Cinema, Vairamuthu has tried to sexually harass her. She also claimed that singer Karthik misbehaved with one of her friends, who also happens to be a singer. Karthik didn't respond on the allegations and was in exile for three months.
After a long time, he came up to the media and opened up on the issue. Karthik released a press statement on his Twitter profile and stated that as per his conscience, he has never tried to misbehave with anyone in his career. He also said that he was away from social media these days due to the illness of his father.
