The Begumpet Police found the dead body of a baby boy near Rasoolpura on Sunday morning. According to the police, the infant is suspected to have been dumped in the drain at Krishna Nagar, by the relatives on Saturday night.The police registered a case under Section 318 (Concealment of birth by secret disposal of dead body) of the IPC. The body has been shifted to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem. Further investigation is underway.
