Techie Kills Wife And Son, Hangs Self. Manish Sahu killed his wife Swetha Sahu and five-year-old son Yash Sahu by slitting their throat. He then committed suicide by hanging from a window.

Suicide by software professionals has once again raised its ugly head. In a horrific incident, a software engineer from Moradabad town in Uttar Pradesh, who was working in the city, committed suicide after killing his wife and five-year-old son. The incident came to light after three days on Wednesday.

According to police, the incident took place at My Home Nawadeep Apartments in Madinaguda under the Madhapur police station limits.

Manish Sahu killed his wife Swetha Sahu and five-year-old son Yash Sahu by slitting their throat. He then committed suicide by hanging from a window. The family was residing in the apartment for the last three years.

As Manish did not turn up for work for the past four days, his colleagues went to the apartment on Wednesday to enquire after him. As foul smell emanated from his flat, his colleagues intimated the police. The cops broke open the door and found the three dead bodies. Swetha and her son Yash were lying in a pool of blood and Manish was found hanging.

Investigators are yet to ascertain the cause of his death. Manish’s friends informed the police that both the husband and wife were not on good terms. In fact, one of the friends had also advised Manish to refrain from quarrelling with his wife frequently. The police have ruled out murder by an outsider as gold, mobiles and other valuables were intact.

“We believe that the husband might have killed the wife and child. As per CCTV footage, they went inside the house on Sunday at 7.30 pm and did not come out on Monday,” said K Narsimhulu, inspector, Madhapur.

The investigators believe that the cause of death could only be ascertained once the family members of Manish arrive in the city from their hometown.
