HC Seeks Bank Details of APNGO Housing Body. Justice Nooty Rammohana Rao of the High Court at Hyderabad on Thursday sought to know the amount available in the bank account of the petitioner APNGO Mutually Aided Co-operative Housing Society.
Hyderabad: Justice Nooty Rammohana Rao of the High Court at Hyderabad on Thursday sought to know the amount available in the bank account of the petitioner APNGO Mutually Aided Co-operative Housing Society. The society had filed a writ plea questioning the action of the police in freezing its account based on a complaint lodged by the district Co-operative officer for alleged violation of provisions of the AP MACS Act.
The petitioner informed the court that the day-today activities of the society had come to a standstill and urged the court to direct the authorities to unfreeze the society's bank account. About 25 society members, who impleaded in the present case, have strongly opposed the de-freezing alleging there was gross improper management of accounts.
The judge directed the petitioner society to file an additional affidavit informing the bank details and the required expenditure and adjourned the case to Monday.
